Life out west and a library card
I’ve been out here in Arizona for about six weeks and I REALLY like it! My little apartment feels like home. I love working at the clinic and everyone I work with is great. I’ve gone on a few adventures already. I’m also thinking about switching blogs sites. Not sure if anyone still reads this one and I know it’s a pain to log-in to Friendster to post. All I have to do is think of a cool name so if there are still people who read this, I’m open to suggestions for a new blog name. On to the library card.
There’s a public library down the street from me. I could walk to it if the weather outside wasn’t in the triple digits….perhaps by October I’ll be able to walk to the library. Anyway, I got a library card a few weeks ago and it’s so exciting. I haven’t had a library card since I was a kid. I have great memories going to the Cypress Creek library and having my very own library card–it was a big deal to have a card with my name on it in elementary school. With my Scottsdale Public Library Card, I’m able to revisit some old favorites (and relive my teenage years of reading everything written by Michael Crichton) and explore new stories that might turn into new favorites. What makes it even better is that I actually have time to read for fun now! And the library has a big collection of DVDs, which is a bonus. I’m very excited about my library card and all the possibilities it holds. I returned one book today and picked up two more, which prompted me to blog about it. My library card makes me happy

Hey! I’m thinking of getting a library card as well! My sister-in-law and I had a conversation about it when they were visiting two weeks ago. There is a huge lovely library in Frisco that we visited and you only need to be a Texas resident. It’s on my to-do list!
