“it’s like a parabola”

Friday, April 13th, 2007

the post title is from a comment Susan made during my break-down day–she was likening the emotions and stress of what we AuD students go through as coming to a breaking point and then returning back to normal, aka a parabola. Yay for my ear-nerd friends. But it’s kinda true. And according to various people who have been where I am now, we start on the downhill slope of stress and crazy emotions after this semester. I am looking forward to that. There are still some big scary things to do: third year research project (makes me throw up a little in my mouth), taking the Praxis test, and testing what we’ve learned through a series of "competencies." Fun times ahead. But first I have to get through the end of this semester, including a research plan for stupid EBP class and three finals. The end is almost here! And I get to take a little break next week to go to Denver for AAA convention. Yay for mountains!
