Happy 80,000 miles!

Good news: CI test tomorrow is open note/open book (very good considering we have only had one real lecture since the midterm so I had no idea what the heck to study); presentation for tomorrow is finished; tomorrow is the last day of class with this particular woman
Bad news: Have to finish a "reading review" and 3 check quizzes before tomorrow’s 9 a.m. class; have to write a research paper by next Wednesday; have to finish my journal group binder by next week; have three take home "tests" due in the next 2 weeks; have a "practical assessment of skills" evaluation in 2 weeks

I went to the doctor today and got on another round of antibiotics. If I get strep again, I know which kid to blame. I also took LB to the ER around 6 today–that’s always a fun way to end class, take a trip to the emergency room! I was there until about an hour ago when roommate Sarah took over for me. LB is doing fine now and is just waiting for some test results. I just finished dinner and still have to finish a lab and pack for the conference (leaving tomorrow after lab and coming back on Sunday). It’s been a busy day!
Update: LB came home with Sarah sometime after 11 last night. She’s feeling perfectly normal now and is ready to take on the day. In other news, Mom has had a rough couple days in Bossier with Granddaddy. Friends, if you get a chance, just say a little prayer for her today. thanks.
Yay for having a small group! After going to my church for a little over a year, I’m finally meeting in community with a group of girls. Two gals (Meredith and Kristin) actually showed up tonight (big improvement from two weeks ago when no one came) and they’re really cool gals. So including Charlie and Jeff (met them yesterday while watching Heroes at Jamie’s), I have four new friends! When will I get to hang out with my new friends, you ask? My standard answer: in December, when this semester is over. Almost done; I can do it!
My throat started to hurt today! I’m hoping it’s just the change in weather–I have way too much school stuff to do this weekend to get sick AGAIN! I was coughing earlier so that means it’s not strep, right? eek! going to bed right after I finish this throat lozenge (not a good sign)!!
